Unity Drive Nears Completion: From Spiritual Heights to Himalayan Peaks, A Journey of Purpose and Perseverance

Purvi Joshi By Purvi JoshiJuly 10, 2025No Comments4 Mins Read

    — The Unity Drive, an inspiring national campaign for women empowerment, road safety, and cybersecurity, has successfully conquered its final challenging legs across the Himalayan terrain. From a serene halt at the Gaza Buddhist Monastery to reaching the towering Shinku La summit, the campaign reaffirmed its core mission: to unite India through strength, spirituality, and social cause.

Day 7: Spiritual Pause at Gaza Buddhist Monastery
At an altitude of 14,000 feet, the Unity Drive team paused at the historic Gaza Buddhist Monastery — one of the oldest spiritual landmarks in the Himalayan range. Amid crisp mountain air and serene chants, the team found a moment for reflection, connecting deeply with the monastery’s timeless aura of peace, resilience, and mindfulness.

“Reaching such remote heights is challenging, but being here felt like a reward — a chance to pause, gather strength, and realign with the deeper purpose of this journey,” said one team member.

To honor the monastery’s heritage, the Unity Drive team gifted a special hamper to a senior woman of the monastery — a symbolic gesture of gratitude for their quiet yet profound contribution to spreading peace and spirituality.
The team also expressed heartfelt thanks to Onesea Media and Axle Aesthetics for powering this initiative and making moments like these possible.

Day 8: Chicham Bridge — Asia’s Highest Suspension Bridge
With adrenaline pumping and the national flag fluttering high, the Unity Drive team conquered the Chicham Bridge at 13,596 feet, making a statement about grit and resilience.
“Looking down from this bridge, you don’t just measure depth — you measure the strength and depth of the human spirit,” shared one team member. The crossing became a reminder that unity knows no boundaries, and no altitude can deter a determined heart.

Day 9: Snow-Covered Sissu — A Moment of Grace and Reflection
In the picturesque village of Sissu, surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks, the Unity Drive team embraced a rare moment of stillness. Against a backdrop of snow-clad mountains and icy winds, the campaign reaffirmed its mission:

“We’ve conquered the highest peaks, not just in altitude, but in purpose,” said one organizer.

Through challenging terrain and emotional conversations, Day 9 marked the campaign’s progress across 95% of its journey, reminding everyone that every kilometer traveled carried a story of unity and strength.

Day 10: Atop Shinku La — An Emotional High Point at 16,580 Feet
Reaching Shinku La, one of the highest mountain passes in the world at an altitude of 16,580 feet, the Unity Drive celebrated an unforgettable milestone.

“This isn’t just a sticker on a signpost — it’s a stamp of unity, a symbol of our mission, and a beacon of strength for all those joining this cause,” said Shri Vamsi Andukuri, Co-founder of Onesea Media and the Unity Foundation.

With winds howling and the earth far below, the team felt deeply connected to its core purpose. To mark the moment, a symbolic Unity Drive sticker was placed at the summit — a testament to the campaign’s resilience and vision.

Day 11: Jispa — Road Safety and Respect with the Subdivisional Magistrate
In the beautiful Himalayan town of Jispa, the Unity Drive team met Mr. Roman Singh Dong, the Subdivisional Magistrate (SDM). Mr. Dong emphasized the critical role of road safety and responsible travel in preserving the tranquility and accessibility of the high mountain roads.

“Please drive cautiously. Respect the terrain, protect each other, and travel with awareness — it can save lives,” urged Mr. Dong.

The Unity Drive team shared its core mission — spreading awareness about women empowerment, cybersecurity, and safe travel — and received Mr. Dong’s blessings for the rest of the journey.

A Journey with a Deeper Purpose
From the holy corridors of Gaza Monastery to the windswept peaks of Shinku La, and the serene valleys of Sissu and Jispa, the Unity Drive has become more than a campaign. It is a symbol of inclusion, strength, and resilience, binding communities across the nation with threads of trust and belonging.

With 95% of the journey complete, the team looks towards the final leg of this extraordinary expedition — carrying forth its message of empowerment, safety, and national pride until it reaches its culmination.
